Doraemon Ceramic Painting

Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo'13 is so happening right now and I should follow this trend also. Bentu Online Magazine worked together with KLSG Expo to come out with this idea of painting Doraemon ceramics and the exhibition took place at Midvalley Convention Centre last month. Calling out to Doraemon fans out there and obviously I'm one of them, they wished to collect 300 pieces (or 1000 I forgot) for The Malaysia Book of Record. Not sure if they achieved this target or not. 

Designers/ illustrators were busy producing their own unique pieces of ceramics. 

This is my Doraemon ceramic themed clumsiness. By casting off his consistent image as smart and intelligent, he is trying to bake his favourite dorayaki without the aid of gadget. This has been chosen as one of the 5 best designs and I am very grateful (泪). Most importantly I get a free ticket to the Secret Gadget Expo which I am much looking forward to! Also thanks one of the vendors who gave me two stamp coupons for the lucky spin! 

Presented above is my Doraemon with his burger brother painted by my roommate. Don't you get the idea why my roommate and I are getting fattier together because we got the same hobby that is to eat. 

Not to mention the golden Doraemon ceramic on the right below was 出自于 Dato' Lee Chong Wei 大手. And more creative ceramics followed up!

Different people contribute different ideas and this inevitably produces a very productive society. And I believe everyone's vision is the same.  Lastly don't forget to pay a visit to The Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo which lasts for 3 months till 23rd March 2014 at Viva Home!
