Researching
and Google map-ing the whole night just for today's plan- Heading to Klang for Bak Kut Teh! Went there this morning by public
transport and it took one hour something to reach there.
20mins to KL Central and another 50mins to Klang. And first time experienced the new & comfy KTM brought from China.
Three of us spent a half day time in Klang but in fact more on the transports.
The weather was just so right for an outing, hot but windy.
Enjoy
walking along the old shop lots with old motifs and features, seeing
peoples taking their life seriously, tauke & tauke niong who treat
us zealously, having the most representative food of the town, been to
the places peoples discussed and recommended over the web.
So collecting opinions and suggestions from the web and summarize into this,
Majority vote 直落玻璃肉骨茶 located respectively at Jalan Teluk Pulai or their branch at Jalan Batai Laut 5 and
盛发肉骨茶at Jalan Stesen as the two best. But then maybe there are the best
out there yet to be figured out. And i have tried out these three!
A two portions 直落玻璃肉骨茶 at Jalan Teluk Pulai.
中 国酒店at Jalan Stesen gained a lot of recommendations, situated just right in front of the Klang Railway Station, you can spot it once getting down here.
Here isn't a place to look for sex workers or staying overnight but a 60s traditional Chinese cafe. They sell kopi C, kopi, milo etc local drinks in cup, traditional toast with kaya/butter, nasi lemak which sell out fast, boiled eggs, cakes etc..
Peoples here started their days with a cup of coffee, a butter/kaya toast, and boiled eggs. Simple but fulfilling. It reminds me about the Singapore film,'当我们同在一起'.
The super duper spicy Nasi Lemak.
So here was the kaya filling traditional toast, it is very nice!
Consuming a lot of food like losing control, and keep walking here and there, I felt my 小腿又变得更粗了.
